The skill tree has no class gating — any hero can invest in any node. Nodes are grouped into 9 thematic clusters for organisation only. Adjacency uses any-one semantics: to unlock a node, you need at least one of its listed prerequisite nodes already allocated. This lets you approach a deep cluster from multiple directions.

Heroes earn skill points by levelling. Each point can be invested into any accessible node. Keystones (★) are Tier 4 capstone nodes that fundamentally change how combat works — they have transformative effects, sometimes with trade-offs.

Routing tip: Most strong builds invest deeply in 2 themes rather than spreading across all 9. Identify the keystone that fits your subclass passive, then route toward it through the cluster.
