What Changes at Level 10

When a Valkyrie reaches level 10 and you select Death's Herald, three things change permanently:

  1. Stat bonuses are added to the hero's ability scores immediately and permanently.
  2. Active ability is replaced with the subclass variant (Last Rites).
  3. Passive effect is unlocked and becomes active in all future runs.

Ability: Last Rites

Last Rites: Grants all living allies +13 ATK and a temporary AP boost for 8 ticks (replacing the base DEF buff). Auto-triggers on ally death, also granting the Herald a +50% ATK rage for 8 ticks.

Permanent Stat Bonuses

Death's Herald grants the following ability score bonuses on top of the Valkyrie base scores:

These bonuses stack with ability score points allocated from levelling. They cannot be removed without retiring the hero.

Passive Effect

When any ally dies, enters Death's Herald Rage — ATK surges for a short duration.

This passive is always active during combat — no gear or skill tree investment required to trigger it.

Recommended Skill Tree Themes
