Deals damage and heals simultaneously — every attack mends an ally.
"To cleanse is to cut. To heal is to burn."
When a Cleric reaches level 10 and you select Inquisitor, three things change permanently:
Smite: Smites an enemy for magic damage while simultaneously healing the lowest-HP ally. AP scales both effects.
Inquisitor grants the following ability score bonuses on top of the Cleric base scores:
These bonuses stack with ability score points allocated from levelling. They cannot be removed without retiring the hero.
Each attack heals the lowest-HP ally for 50% of damage dealt.
This passive is always active during combat — no gear or skill tree investment required to trigger it.
Magic (Pure Caster keystone, AP for Smite scaling), Offense (STR for auto-attack ATK).
See the Skill Tree deep dive for the full 120-node reference and routing advice, or the Cleric build guide for a complete path recommendation for this class.
Both subclasses unlock at level 10. Compare them to choose:
| Inquisitor | Lightbringer | |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Deals damage and heals simultaneously — every attack mends an ally. | Massive group heals and can revive two allies in a single run. |
| Stat Bonus | +2 Intelligence, +1 Strength | +2 Spirit, +1 Intelligence |

The choice is permanent — use a Scroll of Divergence consumable to re-select without retiring the hero.
Set an Archetype with Inquisitor as the guild standard for Cleric — all future recruits of that class will automatically receive this subclass at level 10 without any manual selection.
