Thorns reflect damage and roots enemies in place — the forest fights back.
"Strike me and bleed. Strike again and die."
When a Druid reaches level 10 and you select Thornweaver, three things change permanently:
Entangle: Stuns a random enemy for 3 ticks and reinforces thorns. Passive: reflects 30% of incoming damage back at attackers. AP increases stun duration.
Thornweaver grants the following ability score bonuses on top of the Druid base scores:
These bonuses stack with ability score points allocated from levelling. They cannot be removed without retiring the hero.
Reflects 30% of incoming damage back to the attacker.
This passive is always active during combat — no gear or skill tree investment required to trigger it.
Defense (Second Wind, Living Fortress, Iron Wall), Chaos (Pain Reversal for reflect combo).
See the Skill Tree deep dive for the full 120-node reference and routing advice, or the Druid build guide for a complete path recommendation for this class.
Both subclasses unlock at level 10. Compare them to choose:
| Thornweaver | Shapeshifter | |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Thorns reflect damage and roots enemies in place — the forest fights back. | Beast Form is a deliberate tool — triggered on demand, not just below 35% HP. |
| Stat Bonus | +2 Spirit, +1 Toughness | +2 Vitality, +1 Strength |

The choice is permanent — use a Scroll of Divergence consumable to re-select without retiring the hero.
Set an Archetype with Thornweaver as the guild standard for Druid — all future recruits of that class will automatically receive this subclass at level 10 without any manual selection.
