Choose a subclass at level 10. Each grants permanent stat bonuses, modifies your ability variant, and activates a unique passive. The choice is permanent unless a Scroll of Divergence consumable is used.
Ability: Execute — Strikes the dueled (strongest) enemy for [ATK × 2.2] (before armor) — the blow lands harder the lower that enemy's HP is. Rallies with a [max HP × 0.12] HP second wind on cast. Single target, no AoE. Passive — Duelist's Poise: a [25 + invested AGI × 0.2, max 40]% chance to fully parry the dueled rival's blows.

Ability: Iron Stance — Enters Iron Stance, taunting all enemies, bracing to take 20% reduced damage for 6 ticks, and raising a [max HP × 0.35] HP self bulwark — temporary HP (its own pool, stacks with any shields/heals) that soaks blows. Passives: every hit taken is reduced by a flat [5 + TOU × 0.05] damage, and Dig In — each hit taken stacks +2% damage reduction (up to 25 stacks, diminishing past 25%, approaching 45%). Damage-over-time seeps through the bulwark.
